Robert Williams | Pastor
Robert Williams has been the Pastor at Community Baptist since October 1994. Born in Victoria, Texas in 1956, Robert surrendered to the ministry in 1974. Pastor Williams has been a member of the Crosby/Huffman community since 1984.
Prior to coming to Community, Robert was involved in ministry from youth evangelism to interim pastoring at several churches. He attended Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He enjoys professional football, basketball, fishing, travelling, and spending time with family.
Pastor Robert and his wife, Debbie, have three adult children. Their oldest is Katy, who is married to Dennis Robinson, have blessed the family with 2 grandchildren. Katy and Dennis are also members of CBC and both serve in various capacities at the church.
Their other two children are Robby, who attends Dallas Baptist University, and Annie, who is working on her teaching degree through the University of Houston, and also attends and serves at Community.
Kyle Chapman | Student Minister/Associate Pastor
Kyle Chapman has been the Student Minister/Associate Pastor at Community Baptist since September 2002. Kyle is originally from Forney, Texas and earned a bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University. Kyle also graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with his MDIV in May, 2009.
Prior to coming to CBC, Kyle served churches in Kaufman, Texas and Marshall, Texas. Kyle enjoys golf, baseball, and a cold Dr. Pepper. He and his wife Alecia, have two young children, one daughter and a son.
Michael Elliot | Minister of Music
Michael Elliott has been the Minister of Music at Community Baptist since July 2013. Born in Houston, Texas, in 1967 and grew up in Houston North Shore area.
Prior to coming to Community, Michael was a member of First Baptist North Channel from 1984-2009. He served at FBNC as the Music Minister for seven years, became a Licensed Minister, and served as an Ordained Deacon.
Michael and his wife, Barbara, have been married since December 1988.. They have three children: Mathew 20, Brice 15, and Madison 10. Michael and his family have ministered together in song at various churches over the last 20 years. He also sang as the lead vocalist with Crossing Jordan Gospel Trio for two years.
